A. Mounting to plexiglass is a delicate and labor intensive process. You can expect to receive your artwork in 10-15 business days. Expedited shipping may be available at an added cost, although expedited production is not available.
A. Email us at sales@prophotomounts.com and we can add it so that you can order it.
A. Yes we will do this for you at no additional charge. If we need to crop your image or adjust it in any way, we will send you a proof for your approval prior to printing. Since this adds time to the process, we do recommend you provide your images to match the proportions of the piece you're ordering. If you have any questions, please contact us at sales@prophotomounts.com.
A. Our pricing is currently set so that you can market these pieces either as your own artwork to resell or to your clients as an upsell over standard prints. We work with several renowned artists around the globe that do very well selling their work with our mounting at these pricing levels.
A. This is something we do all the time. in such cases (and please just shoot us an email with your order info if this is the case), we will ship the package with no mention of ProPhotoMounts whatsoever. We have a set of special care instructions that we send with every piece, but in these situations, these instructions make no mention of ProPhotoMounts.
A. Nail, meet Mr. Hammer. It's that simple. Once on the wall, your artwork will be self leveling and will stand off from the wall approximately 1".
A. We do not recommend hanging your new artwork next to a heat or moisture source (vent, stove, shower, exposed light bulb, hot tub, etc) or in a spot where it will receive direct sunlight. Also, you may want to polish your artwork occasionally. The only polish we currently recommend is called Plexus. It's available here on Amazon. In the meantime, for light dusting, a very soft rag will do. DO NOT use commercial cleansers (windex, etc), as it may damage the acrylic.

A. If you'd like multiple quantities of the same image just change your quantity during the order process. If you'd like different images/sizes, place your order and when you send the file(s), indicate in the email which size goes with wich image file.
A. We print from JPEGs or TIFFs. As far as file size, photographers tend to get hung up on megapixels and file sizes; we don't need a 163 mb tiff to achieve a nice print. Of course it will depend on the exact file/size combination, but we've printed from 5-9 mb jpegs at over 60" wide with fantastic results.
A. We do not mount originals. There are several reasons for this, the main being quality control- once we start the process, if there is a single hair, fingerprint, etc, we've just ruined someone's original. If we print it and something goes wrong- it's our loss solely, and we can just start over. Plus, the photo papers we use were chosen for their interaction with the adhesives and plexiglass.
A. We can print any size/any proportion up to 4 ft by 8 ft. In such cases, shipping will be handled on a case by case basis.
A. We have partnered with a high volume commercial printing company using a Durst Lambda 130 Plus Laser printer, with resolution up to 4,000 dpi. Their components are frequently calibrated and offer the highest print quality available. For further info on the Durst Laser printer, please refer to the following document:http://www.durstus.com/mbLit/dl/Lambda/Lambda130_E.pdf. We do review each file received as a courtesy to our customers, however it is solely your responsibility to ensure that your order is free of typographical or graphical errors, and/or poor image quality. Since color is subjective, it is our policy to not color correct any images upon receiving your files. One of the most common problems we come across is darker than expected prints. This is often a result of today's vibrant computer monitors being so bright that it actually distorts our perception of the actual image. Again, this is subjective, but you may want to slightly boost the brightness unless you're confident that your screen is displaying the true brightness value.
A. All images are mounted on 1/8" plexiglass. We do not offer any other thicknesses.
A. No, we find our hanging method to be much more simple.
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and payments through PayPal. All payments are processed securely via PayPal, however you don't need an account to simply pay with your credit card.
A. ProPhotoMounts uses the highest levels of security to ensure your privacy. Your personal information, including your email address, is very important to us. We will not reveal information or email address to any third parties.
If you've read all of this, there's really nothing you could possibly ask, but if you have any questions that are not explained here, please write us at sales@prophotomounts.com and we will eagerly reply.
